In 2017, Bangladesh first robot restaurant was launched in Dhaka. The event was mutually organized by China based Robot company HZX Electronic Technology Company and restaurant owner of Mexwel Robot Restaurant.
Two humanoid robots have been deployed at the restaurant to serve customer meals. People from all walks of life are welcome to visit the restaurant to experience their distinctive mechanized service, which is situated in the Family World Convention Centre at 2/6 Asad Gate, Mirpur Road, close to the official residence of the Bangladeshi prime minister.

He continued, We are trying to keep the price of the menu minimum so every individual from different backgrounds can afford and get a chance to enjoy our service.
At first, robots will only serve food they will not take any orders from the customers. Our decision to use robots to take orders will be made gradually-The owner said.

Rahin Raiyan, the restaurant’s director, explained the need for robot waiters in place of the customary waiters by stating that after a few hours of labor, waiters get fatigued. However, when robots are handling the client service, waiters can focus on other facets of hospitality that could have been overlooked in the haste to get through the line.
Robot Cost and Charging
According to him, the robots can work nonstop for 18 hours and may be charged while doing so. For this restaurant, each robot costs us between $8,000 and $10,000. The restaurant known simply as Robot Restaurant employs two robots to deliver food to customers. The first robot is a man, and the second is a woman. Both robots are around 1.6 meters tall and weigh about 30 kg each.

As the first restaurant in the whole country to be run entirely by robots, customers have referred to the restaurant’s opening as a “milestone and new history.” Being served by a robot was an interesting and enjoyable experience, A 12-year-old client named Asif Shams.
