Here is the complete process of ho how to register a vehicle in Armenia. There are two kinds of registration for vehicles.
1. Temporary Registration:
When one buys a vehicle from a dealer, the dealer will issue a temporary registration. This registration number will be temporary and is often only valid for one month. Within this period, the owner will get a permanent car registration number within one month.
2. Permanent Registration:
After buying the vehicle, the vehicle owner has to register it with his name. When the owner applies for registration, the registration department will give the permanent registration number of the vehicle. That registration number cannot change under any circumstances. If you move from one state to another, you will need to register again.
Required Documents:
To register a vehicle in Armenia you will need to provide documents to verify your identity and residence. Documents you can use to verify your identity are included. To get a valid Armenian license you must bring your current license with you which must be translated into Armenian within six months previous to applying for a local license. In addition, you will be required to have an eye test. A written and road test may also be necessary, depending on your driving history and the status of your license.
